In Whom

In Whom We Have Redemption

Colossians 1:13-14 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear SonIn whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:..."

Ephesians 1:7 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;...."

"In whom we have redemption. . ." Man! How thankful we can be that we are not trying to get it! We already have it! Amen or oh me? We ARE NOW delivered from the authority of darkness, from the power (if any at all) of satan and his followers. By the power of our new birth we have been delivered out of the kingdom of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of God's dear Son Jesus. We can overcome the devil (he is no one!) no matter where we meet him or what the test.

satan's dominion ended and Jesus' dominion began in our lives the moment we accepted (spoke it and belived it) Jesus as Lord and were subsequently born again.

Galatians 3:13 says that, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:..."

We are redeemed from the curse of the law? What's the curse of the law? Death right? Well, we can go back to say, the first 5 books of the BIble and see in Deuteronomy, the last half of the 28th chapter of Deut. In Christ, we are redeemed from the curse of the law----which includes, but is not limited to poverty, sickness and death. And....the blessings of Abraham are ours (See Gal. 3:14 and the first half of the 28th Chapt of Deuteronomy) !!!

Bottom line...satan's dominion(Heb 2:14 with Col 1:13) over us as new creatures in Christ has ended. Jesus IS Lord!
